1. In your search bar (to the left bottom- it says Type here to search)

2. Type in Windows Update - select Windows Update Settings

(Then a pop-up box with Windows Update will open)

3. Do NOT click the grey box that says "Check for Updates" select the blue words below that says "Check online for updates from Microsoft Update"

Depending on what version you are on- it may take a while to get your laptop up to date. You can lower that screen and let it update while you do something else- just check back on it because it will say "Restart" when it is done. You will need to press the restart button then let it boot back up but then please go back to Check for Updates, to be sure it is completely done :)
